Under the leadership of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, since 2012, the Agency on Public Procurement of Goods, Works and Services under Government of the Republic of Tajikistan has been carrying out reforms to improve the system of electronic procurement. These reforms are supported by the World Bank through the allocation of grant funds.
In order to cover public procurement by electronic format, increasing the capacity of procuring entities and entrepreneurs to participate in government bidding procedures, the Agency, within the framework of the IDF World Bank grant project No. TF 016491-TJ, plans to hold two-day regional Seminars in the cities of Dushanbe in the first half of October this year , Khujand, Kurgantyube, Kulob and Harog on "The practice of public procurement through electronic systems in the Republic of Tajikistan".
It is expected that up to 500 representatives of procuring organizations and suppliers will take part in these seminars.
